Regional Transmission Coordination Task Force

On Dec. 2, 2021, Governor Steve Sisolak announced the initial appointment of 19 members to the Regional Transmission Coordination Task force, which was formed through the signing of Senate Bill 448 during the 81st Nevada Legislative Session.

The task force is charged with advising the Governor and the Nevada Legislature on topics and policies related to regional energy transmission in the West, including the costs and benefits of the transmission providers in Nevada joining a regional transmission organization to provide access to a wholesale electricity market.
