NAC 701 General Service Lamp (GSL) Rulemaking
Pursuant to NRS 701.260 as amended under AB 54, the Director of the Governor's Office of Energy shall adopt regulations to carry out the provisions of the chapter establishing a minimum standard of energy efficiency for lumens per watt of electricity consumed that must be produced by general service lamps sold in this State on and after January 1, 2020. The minimum efficiency standard must meet or exceed 45 lumens per watt of electricity consumed. The Director shall also define by regulation 'general service lamp'.
The Governor's Office of Energy formally adopted these regulations on August 24, 2020.
